Kellie Martin, an American film and television actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". In addition, she is famous as the main character for The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt, who was a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the small and large screen. Martin has also been an artist and photographer. Two daughters are hers, she's the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness each day following the passing of her sister, who was the age of 19.
