Sasha first revealed as transgender at the age of high school. Sasha faced some difficult times however she was confident that his family was there to support him, and music was a way to assist. Jim and Sasha each have a songwriter. They have performed at venues in the area along with open mics and in other places. While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played before their performance. Sasha first started playing guitar when she was just six years old. The pair spoke about their tastes in music and shared stories about how they first met. The fact that his father was a teacher was a huge help for Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha was born a female and had a hard time finding his own identity while he was an infant. In an Instagram post, he revealed his problems. Jim himself felt overwhelmed by emotion as the post explained how he was unable to be present during these difficult times. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen's age will reach 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen began his transition into masculinity while just entering his first year of high school. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender individual to appear on this show and I'm delighted to represent transgender people in such an extensive way."
